A memory card game where players "lose their way" in a forest when failing to match a pair. Based on the artist's personal memory of getting lost as a child, this game transforms memory into a shared experience. When a player makes an error, the cards flip, causing disorientation and reinforcing the feeling of being lost in a forest of recollections.

Jun Iizuka’s multiple works have been produced and distributed by DOOKS, a publishing label directed by Daichi Aijima. His practice consistently engages with the theme of memory, materializing it through objects that oscillate between personal recollection and collective experience. Among these works are a memory game that incorporates photographs taken during a forest ordeal, a three-dimensional photo album that reconfigures the structure of personal archives, and memory packs containing ephemera and found objects. Each of these works functions less as a neutral record than as a reframing of private snapshots, foregrounding the intimate and fragmentary nature of remembrance.
