《コンステレーションズ》は、身の回りの品々を整理するなかで見つかった家族写真や紙片、記念の品などを「星屑」に見立て、作家自身のまなざしと美的判断によって、新たな「星座」として結び直す試みです。

 

この作品は、作家がこれまで自身の制作について考えてきたことを、ものや空間を通してかたちにするものでもあります。さまざまな断片と作家の内に浮かぶイメージを重ね合わせながら、それぞれの関係を組み替えていく、可変的なインスタレーションとして展開しています。

CONSTELLATIONS brings together family photographs, fragments of paper, and keepsakes discovered while sorting through personal belongings. The artist sees these scattered objects as "stardust" and, through his own perspective and aesthetic judgment, connects them to form new "constellations."

​

The work also gives form, through objects and space, to ideas the artist has developed while reflecting on his own artistic practice. It takes the form of a reconfigurable installation, bringing together fragments and images from the artist's imagination while exploring the changing relationships between them.
